xrosepetalsxI wanted to write Kyusung, but Kyuhyun’s already gotten quite a few drabbles, so let’s give big brother Shindong another drabble part ;D

Yesung isn’t quite certain when it happened. He only knows that it did and that he hadn’t been expecting it. One day, he kind of overlooked the dark haired magnae, and the next, he was completely taken with him.
He wanted, just a little bit; loved, just a little bit; needed, just a little bit, but he couldn’t have. He could hardly touch, hardly speak too, hardly get the attention of, until KRY was formed.
And that only lasted so long before other obligations came up. The majority of the time, Yesung was off doing fanservice with Ryeowook anyway, Kyuhyun the third wheel with the fabulous voice (that Yesung kind of loved).
When they left for China to do SJ-M, Yesung was kind of miserable. He wanted, he dreamt of, he missed, despite never having gotten a real chance to touch, a real chance to show and prove his affections.
He kind of wanted to go back and change it, kind of wanted to go back and announce his feelings for the other just so he could be rejected or not rejected and have gotten it over with.
But he couldn’t, and it was too late for wishes, and there was no way he was doing this over the phone. It would be face to face, concrete, no shuffling around it and pretending the feelings weren’t there with a “haha, just a joke, just a bet, just a prank” if Kyuhyun rejected him but could see the truth in his eyes.
Yesung kind of wondered when someone would confront him about his kind of obvious feelings, wondered why it hadn’t happened already, wondered who it would be.
It was Shindong, in the end, and somehow Yesung wasn’t surprised.
Shindong noticed a lot more then he let on. Shindong noticed much of what the other members never saw. Shindong was a good brother to have around, always making jokes and giving that rare good advice.
“Why haven’t you told him?”
“Told who?”
“Kyuhyun.”
“…because I’m afraid.”

When SJ-M returned, they clustered in one dorm room, the smell of cake wafting from the kitchen where Sungmin had baked it. Yesung helped serve it, taking one of the bigger pieces to Kyuhyun in that rare show of emotion and affection that would be noticed by no one because no one would see it as something done on purpose.
But Shindong noticed, of course, quirking a brow in the silent question of “…and why haven’t you told him yet?” Yesung could only shrug with a helpless, love struck smile, and when he looked back over at Kyuhyun, realized Kyuhyun had seen it.
Kyuhyun was quirking a brow at him, and then switching his gaze to Shindong. Wordless communication passed between them, and Yesung tried to communicate a telepathic “don’t tell him” that didn’t seem to find its way through.
Because Kyuhyun turned to him with a smirk, picking up his fork and taking a deliberately seductive bite of the cake in front of him. Yesung was wide eyed, lips parted as he licked his lips.
Standing up, he moved to Kyuhyun’s side, placed his cake on the nearest flat surface, grabbed him by the neck of his shirt, and dragged him off to his room to make up for lost time. The willing movements of the other told him he hadn’t misread the earlier action.

I’m trying to even everyone out and make sure they all have similar amounts of drabbles. Kyuhyun’s got one of the highest, but I wanted Kyusung ;____; I feel deprived. So Shindong got to be a good big brother again ;D
